New Patients
at Sunrise Health Institute

When it’s your first time visiting a new office, you’ll likely have a few questions. What will happen at the first appointment? How long will it take? Will you be adjusted that day? At Sunrise Health Institute, we want you to know exactly what to expect before you walk through the door.

Unlike a typical doctor’s office, our practice feels a little more like home. We keep things relaxed and welcoming, so you can settle in and feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

During your visit, we’ll take time to hear what’s been bothering you, answer your questions, and figure out together whether our approach makes sense for you.

ONLINE FORMS

Before Your First Visit

New patient paperwork can be completed online ahead of time or printed and filled out before your appointment. You don’t need to bring anything else with you. However, if you have previous X-rays, MRIs, or other imaging related to your concerns, you’re welcome to bring those along.

What Happens at Your First Appointment?

Plan on spending about an hour with us. Your first visit includes a consultation, health history, and examination. One of our adjusters will take the time to hear what’s going on, learn what you’ve already tried, and get a clearer picture of what may be behind your concerns.

If you both decide that our office is a good fit and you’d like to move forward, you may also receive your first adjustment that day.

Your Second Visit

Your second appointment usually takes about 15-20 minutes. We’ll go over what we found during your examination and explain our recommendations. You’ll have time to ask questions and talk through the next steps, including any recommended care plan.

There’s no pressure to continue. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make a decision that works for you.

Straightforward Payment Options

We are a direct-pay practice and do not accept insurance. Payment for your first visit is due that day, and any ongoing care plan costs will be discussed at your second visit.

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA) funds, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds.

Come See What We’re About

Not sure whether chiropractic care is a good place to start? We also offer a free, no-obligation consultation of about 15 minutes. It’s simply a chance to talk about your concerns and see whether our office may be a good fit for you.
